building it in 2014/2015 and it was fully commissioned in 2017 but they only completed phase 1 and then stopped the rest of the build. They decommissioned it shortly after and was never occupied but they have had maintenance and security to maintain it until last September. After that our company has maintained it to keep it in the new condition it is. It is located on an active Cenovus project so it has security watching it 24/7 and you need to have an access card or be on a list to visit the camp. It is located near AB Canada

The camp was planned to be a 3000 man camp, which you will be able to see with the overall site drawings for the project. This is what was included in phase one of their build, three 3-storey dorms that are all Jack and Jill rooms (324 beds) with laundry on every level (27 washing machines, 27 dryers), storage rooms and mechanical rooms. A large boot room with coat hooks, benches and very nice finishings. The Arctic corridor is very long, so adding additional dorms would be easy, you will be able to see from the pictures and blueprints. There are also two loading docks, one at the end of the corridor for supplies and maintenance area and also 3 loading docks for the kitchen. The full kitchen was in phase 1 so there is a lot of cooking stations, bakery stations, pantries, multiple walk-in freezers, multiple walk-in fridges, 2 buffet lines, coffee stations and more. The dining room was going to be 2 stages so the 1st stage has seating for 368 people, along with glass door fridges, milk dispensers, coffee stations and more. The rec area/admin building is 2 levels with multiple offices, boardroom, theater room with stage, common TV area, private TV/Gaming rooms, all exercise equipment, offices on main level as well, hotel check in station and front boot-room. The camp has top end finishings and equipment, Cenovus was making this their nicest camp they had in their fleet. They had over $110,000,000 into what is on location including the FilterBoxx wastewater system, FilterBoxx fire suppression system and Newterra water treatment facility with water storage tanks.
